Typical Day in the Dams Team
In these roles, you might be involved in:
- Developing designs from conceptual through to detailed stages for water dams, retarding basins and service basins.
- Conducting inspections, investigations and condition assessments of existing dams, including analyzing and monitoring data.
- Performing safety reviews in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to address all aspects of dam safety.
- Managing client relationships and overseeing multiple projects, ranging from small to large-scale initiatives.
- Administering and supervising contracts.
Qualifications
While the following qualifications and experience are preferred, not having all of them doesn’t necessarily disqualify you. We encourage you to apply as we consider all applications:
- Experience in dams engineering and design.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and RPEQ / CPEng accreditation (highly regarded).
- Proven capability in design work, including the preparation of design reports, drawings and specifications.
- Strong report writing and verbal communication skills.
- A positive attitude with a view of challenges as opportunities for innovation, collaboration and growth.
